OUR STORY
Small enterprises that were founded as early as 1993, including Habesha International Promotion, Metex Café, Victory Audio-Video, and other retail organizations, gave rise to Solex Group Holdings.
Solex Group Holdings has been broadening its line of business to include mining operations, construction, hotel and tourism, hospitality industries, business consulting training, property management, logistics, and expeditions throughout Ethiopia and Switzerland.
Since its founding, the business has generated revenues of 100 million Ethiopian Birr in 2021 and 120 million Birr in 2022. After the group’s rebranding in 2019, Solex Group is currently managed and owned by Solomon Tsegaye Teserra.

Solomon Teserra is a distinguished expert in Quality Assurance Inspection within the medical device and watch industry, with a remarkable record of accomplishments. As the Founder and CEO of Solex Group Holdings, he leads the way in providing exceptional financial services to support small and medium-scale businesses. With offices in both Ethiopia and Switzerland, Solomon is a truly global leader, bringing his expertise to diverse communities. Alongside his MBA from Robert Kennedy College, Solomon holds a bachelor’s degree in Theological Leadership from Leadstar Theological College, further showcasing his multifaceted talents. Additionally, he boasts extensive entrepreneurial experience in the restaurant industry, having established successful ventures in both Geneva, Switzerland and Ethiopia.

Afework Yohannes is an experienced business consultant with 37 years of experience in promoting businesses. He has worked in government and international organizations, and since 1998 he has been running his own management consulting company. He has expertise in business management training, export competitiveness, supply chain management, value chain development, entrepreneurship development, and business strategies. He is also a skilled trainer and training manual developer. Afework is currently the president of the Ethiopian Business Advisory Service Providers Association and is connected to international associations such as ValueLinks International and CEFE International.

Mike Getachew is a Cluster Concierge Manager and the General Secretary of Les Clefs d’Or UAE. He has been working with Radisson Hotels Group for more than 10 years and has trained several employees around the EMEA. He has also received several awards for his work, including Best Head Concierge in 2012, Short-listed Best Concierge in 2013, Manager of the Year Award in 2015 and 2018, and Short-listed Concierge / Guest Service of the Year Award in 2020. In 2021, Mike brought together concierges from all Radisson Hotels in UAE created and provided networking with other concierges, and other events for the Les Clefs d’Or group. He also had a very successful Concierge cross-training exposure program in Saudi Arabia in 2022. He is passionate about making Radisson Hotel Group Concierges recognized for their hospitality and the ability to create memorable and priceless moments for their guests. He truly believes in the motto of ‘In Service Through Friendship’.

Dr. Tamrat Worku is an experienced instructor, trainer and counselor with 10 years of experience in theological colleges and in his office. He has worked at different colleges, and since 2022 he has been running his own college and ministry. He has expertise in leadership training, theological education and counseling. He is also a skilled trainer and manual training developer. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Christian-Muslim Relations, a Masters’ degree in both Leadership and Practical Theology and a PhD in Biblical Interpretation from New Life Bible College and Seminary in Columbus, Ohio, USA. He holds different certifications from different institutions in Transformational leadership, counseling and trauma healing
